The food was outstanding. You should only reserve a table at the moment. There was a very large request.

While looking for a stop in Bosau, we came across this inn. On Sunday, I called an hour beforehand and asked for a reservation. Everything was processed quickly and we were able to go out to eat, despite the many visitors. Thank you for the delicious salad with baked shepherd's cheese and vinaigrette.

An inn with ambience. The kitchen is delicious. Dishes tailored to the seasons. Partially fully booked theme offers are at the end of the year. The staff is quick, friendly and careful. Reservation is necessary, otherwise you will take the assigned seat. A home-style kitchen. My food: Pumpkin cream soup, smoked pork and boiled sausage with beet sauce, bacon and onions. Game goulash with red cabbage, spaetzle pear with lingonberries - both recommended. Duckstein on tap. Here you can dine with the family. 👍

An inn with a long history. We celebrated a milestone birthday there for the second time with the family. The atmosphere is cozy. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The young staff is friendly and committed to their work. The food was very tasty. The cook is a master of his craft. There is nothing to complain about here. The location next to the lake and the church invites you to take a walk after dinner and then come back for coffee and cake. In good weather you can also sit in the beer garden. There is a swing and a sandpit for children. Thank you for an all-round successful celebration.

I was out and about on my motorcycle, stayed there very well and ate even better outside in the beer garden. The sour meat was the best I've had in a long time. The service very friendly, attentive and personable and also very good to have a chat. Breakfast was also delicious and fresh. I felt very comfortable, can only recommend Frohsinn and will definitely come back when I'm around.

The inn has a "good old-time charm" from the outside. From the inside it is very cozy. The breakfast buffet was very attractive and plentiful. The a-la-card food is delicious. The room is just enough for 2 people and the existing carpet is past its prime. The rooms on the ground floor were renovated and looked very nice. A kettle for a coffee or tea was missing. But the great thing was the large garden with a lake and the possibilities to use various water sports equipment. Bosau itself is a very quiet but central place for activities in the immediate vicinity. Plön, Lütjenburg, Malente, Preetz and even Lübeck can be easily reached by car. You need a good physical condition for bike tours, because it always goes up and down In conclusion, we felt comfortable and would be happy to come back

Highly recommended! We liked the food very much and the price-performance ratio was also good. The staff was very busy, regardless of that they were all very friendly and professional. The handling of the Corona rules was also met very well - regardless of what personal opinion each guest might have.

Service, food, accommodation and room service are excellent. The location on the lake is ideal for relaxing and swimming. The leisure activities of the house and in the area are diverse. Highly recommended!

We had a great evening with 2 friends with you and are really thrilled. We once had a cream vegetable soup and a crab soup as a starter. Both were really fresh and homemade, first of all a big compliment. Then as the pictures show, roast beef with fried potatoes and asparagus with salmon, both of which were very good. Only the fried potatoes were unfortunately a bit flabby, since they were probably pre-fried and thus had absorbed a lot of fat. Ambience and service was very nice 👍 we would love to come back.

We can absolutely recommend the restaurant. It has a nice ambience, friendly service and delicious food. The portions were perfect for us. In the beer garden it was a bit too windy, but in the summer certainly very nice. Clear recommendation.

Great location for lake sports, bike trails or even just reading a book in front of the view. Don’t take the 3rd floor rooms in the summer as they will become hot. The room I stayed was ok but with no view and small washing room. Dinner in the Biergarten is very pleasant. Even a simple schnitzel was tasty.

Great food, friendly staff. Not a huge menu but everything on it is delicious. Especially recommendable are the 'Bratkartoffeln'. I've been visiting the place a couple of times a year for the last 5 years or more, and have never left disappointed. If you're visiting the area, this is without a doubt the best place you can go to eat.
